To turn your free time into a tailor-made experience, we offer numerous services and amenities to enjoy both inside and outside the hotel.

The sea is definitely the first thing that comes to mind if you're coming to the Amalfi coast. La Cocumella is home to a small beach, accessible by lift or up the scenic staircase through the grey tuff caves of Sorrento. The steps also lead to the hotel's private solarium.

In the morning, nothing can be cooler than the sand in the shadow of the cliffs: these are the words of Mary Shelley, used to describe the beach at La Cocumella when she was a frequent visitor with her partner, the great English poet Percy Bysshe Shelley. Treat yourself to a few hours of silence and relaxation in this delightful bay - you won't regret it.

But the beach isn't the only place where you can spend your free time: surrounded by the green gardens and enveloped by the fresh scent of orange blossom, a regenerating semi-Olympic pool awaits, where you can relax in the shade of the trees.
For sports lovers, a walk through the gardens leads you to the tennis court and gym. Body and mind can be restored at our spa, where you can also book yourself a relaxing massage or wellness treatment.

One of the many activities you can enjoy inside or outside the hotel is our Cooking class, a course put together and run by our expert in-house team, to teach aspiring chefs how to cook in an informal, entertaining and authentic setting.

And don't miss the opportunity to take a boat trip to Capri, Nerano, Positano and the Amalfi coast, onboard our very own ketch, the Vera, one of the most exclusive and oldest sailing boats in the Mediterranean. Between hemp ropes and wooden pulley blocks, Vera preserves the historic nautical reliability and performance qualities of Nordic sailing with period charm.
The sailing ship can accommodate up to 12 people and can also be chartered for cruises in the Tyrrhenian Sea and private events.
